JV and Freshman Scores

Thanks for the FR and JV updates. Big bounce back after last week. I enjoy hearing/reading about our future Friday night stars. GO INDIANS!!!

Resiliency is the best word I can think of to describe these wins. In both cases confidence and confirmation of ability and effort follow. Never give up.

FRESHMAN PURPLE WINS! 35-21 An amazing game on the ground and an efficient pass game capped off by some amazing defense! Last minute touchdown by Montgomery made it sounds a lot closer than it looked. One more sleep before the Indians take their shot at a district title. We will have ALL the action on NDN PRESS on YOUTUBE! Goodnight, Safe Travels, and SCALP EM’
FYI the NDN Press broadcasts have progressed from good to great over the last few years (3?)
Great job
It’s not as easy as it looks

Great work and great service to the community. Future sportscasters or announcers in the making. Sideline technical difficulties (audio) are the last thing to figure out.

Yes there’s a few minor things but that’s why the big pros get millions and have a team of hundreds
As far as professional amateurs I give it an A+
WAY better than TXK gameday as far as camera work

Ashworth made a good touchdown run against Nederland. Appears to be a good running threat which would add a nice dimension to the varsity offense. (See Montgomery offense.)

How did Ashworth do on the jv squad? Good passer? Runner? Speed?

I hear that the freshman qb is a threat to take over in varsity next year. Anyone else hearing anything about this?

The offense will be loaded with returning receivers, both tight ends and Tyson Henry. The offensive line will have Reeves back as the leader and Matney getting a shot. How do the upcoming OL-men look?

I know there is a kid named Justice Allen (27) has good size, Matney (28) is getting var reps already, strong as an ox, just needs more reps. Hudson Bond (27) is snapping field goals on var, not the biggest guy but has potential, really needs to let the animal out of the cage if he is going to shine. Kelvin "KJ" Paige (27) has shown flashes, just needs to keep working the fundamentals, get his footwork clean, I think we will be ok. Can't speak to what freshman (29's) may make varsity next year as sophomores.

I think Ashworth will be the starter. West is very talented but I am not sure he is as far along in development. Ashworth is quicker and faster.
Whe. Ashworth tab for that 20 yard TD i was blown away by his speed. He is very fast and athletic. My brother has been to all the freshmen games and he says the fresh qb is a extremely accurate passer and very foitball savy.

Who is PNG #89 OL heavy set wild cat package in the Montgomery game? Not listed on roster under that jersey number? Big OL player. Up from JV?
