2025 Bond

Not part of any bond plans but it would really be great if the sound system could be upgraded on the home side. More specifically, add some speakers to the top of the bleachers similar to the La Porte setup. It is difficult to hear the band playing in the general admission section and the north end of the stadium. If the band sounds could be piped down there if would really help.

Was just coming here to post that. I know KBMT says "0% reporting," but I think that's actually 100% of the vote in PN-GISD. A total of ~1,700 votes sounds right for the district.

On a related note, Proposition 4 is looking like it's in great shape right now.

I voted yes on Texas Prop 4. Congrats and thanks for your hard work. As goes the water supply so goes the future of this state.

"The constitutional amendment to dedicate a portion of the revenue derived from state sales and use taxes to the Texas water fund and to provided for the allocation and use of that revenue."

Well, the numbers are still updating. Here’s to hoping that there’s a reason to say Congrats to PNGISD for getting support of new facilities and upgrades that will better position the district in the future.

Thank you for the support. There aren't many people who can say they wrote a section of the Texas Constitution. After tonight, I can say I've written two (though I wrote the other one almost three years ago) worth almost $21 Billion altogether. It's an honor and a privilege to be able to work on issues of such critical importance to the future of our state. It's especially gratifying to have the voters across the state ratify that work.

My fault for jumping to conclusions. Turnout across the state was much higher than expected this election cycle and it's been hard to gauge what the final vote tally will be.

Ditto. We’ll see what the count is once the smoke clears and the dust settles. It’s going to be a game changer, pass or fail. If it fails, it does not bode well for the future of some things. If it passes, it’s the realization of some long held dreams.

On another positive vote in Cy-Fair ISD, coming from this very conservative leaning voter, some extreme right, unqualified board members all lost their reelection bids today. Extremism comes in many flavors and the pendulum swings back hard when you push idiotic ideas, plans and lies. Karma is a bear…. CFISD voted for pragmatism over extreme partisan politics and policies running the district.

CONGRATS PNGISD!

Why did the ballot say "THIS IS A TAX INCREASE" - when in fact it is not a tax increase?
