Stop and Reflect

We should never get bogged down in statistics. While they are more objective measurements than rankings and polls, they still don’t reflect the entire story of how they evolved.

But just for conversations sake, it’s nice to be aware of and recognize that Tyson Henry is in the middle of a great running back career at PNG. As we stand today, he is 7th on the all time list and climbing rapidly. Assuming an injury free playoffs and 2026 season, and how explosive the running game is during that time, he is on track for top 3 all-time.

Run hard and run for glory young man. And help your team win many more games while crediting the big guys in front of you, and all your other teammates and coaches that make it possible. Excellence feeds and grows from excellence.

Can someone explain to me why as a program we don't have any stats on the offensive & defensive side of the ball i.e. QB, RB, WR, & tackles, Int's etc.

We do have many offensive and defensive records at the link below. Most of those did come from the program or other reliable sources. A more limited history of defensive statistics were tracked. You’d have to ask the coaches going back to 1925 about the level of records kept. In recent years defensive records are likely better recorded, but that won’t reflect historical records going back to 1925.

QB Conner Bailey is a lock at top 4 all-time passers in PNG history. If he has an incredible and amazing post season, he is a long shot to surpass #3.

Maybe should have been more specific. I was asking about the current season stats for the 10 games so far this year. I will go back and watch the games on NDN press and go drive by drive and write down stats such as Connor had around 234 passing yards for 4 TD's against Dayton.

Understand. Some of those stats are available. Bailey has completed 113 of 192 attempts for 1756 yards, 20 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
Most stats are not published or updated here until after the season is complete. And it’s typically the numbers that are historically significant.
