Nacogdoches @ PN-G Round - 1

Can't wait until Friday.
It's Monday... uuugggh.
I'll study the film to keep me from going crazy.
Maybe I should drive through Nederland playing Cherokee really loud nah, I'll stay focused. I hope the players, coaches, and newly promoted JV can stay focused. Just imagine your first varsity game in the playoffs

From someone from the 75 team time.
Undefeated means a lot more if you win the state championship. Until then, one game at a time. Treat each game like Mid County Madness. Our opponents will pull out the stops. Every trick play.
The best part is that our team has been there before. They don't need anyone to tell them anything they don't already know. Now it is time for the team leaders to lead the ones who are going through this for the first time.
So yes, "sit back and enjoy the story" as it unfolds.
As great (ranked 3rd in Country) as the 1975 team was it lost to South Houston in the preseason then barely beat French 6-2 in bi- district. What the 2022-2025 teams have consistently accomplished is a tribute to great coaching and players hard work to be all that you can be.

DCTF projects us to win by 43.
Montgomery and Huntsville are also projected to win.
I would not be very surprised to see a district rematch with one of them.

Not likely to see Montgomery again this year. While they have really matured since the beginning of this year, it looks like they have to defeat SOC before they would get to PNG. While possible, its not likely that Montgomery will come out on top in their contest.

Nacogdouches QB lofts his passes like a punt PNG Safeties need to make a few interceptions in double coverage. QB gets rid of ball quickly the reason for the high arch to let receivers run under the ball. Spot throws.

Agree. Montgomery QB thinks he can run over anyone. He won’t finish the SOC game.

Nacogdoches is going to throw the ball. They have a young QB who doesnt run much at all. Three talented WRs. Pressure on the qb will be key.
QB gets rid of the ball quickly. Throws high arching passes to a spot and lets receivers run under the ball.

Been studying Nac and Ennis. I belive Coach Joseph will have PNG prepared for tonights game. Without looking ahead. As a fan I have watched several Ennis games and believe that they will be vulnerable to our style of play. Harrell being gone and a new coach they kinda did a Huntsville this season. Don Drake is now there coach.

Ennis sort of reminds me of Huntsville, now that you mention it, but with less talent. They’re pretty big on defense, and can be stout against the run. Their qb is better passing than Huntsville’s, but not by much. I think they’re going to be a tougher second round opponent than Kaufman was last year.
