I see what you’re doing there lolWay to go Indians. Beat the Brenha Cubs tomorrow and take the Area crown!
Hard to say. But at least there will be a tomorrow thanks to the incredible INDIAN FIGHTING SPIRIT!!Indians are going to win it this inning! Who will be up to pitch for the Indian’s tomorrow?
Yep. Kaiden was a real life hero in this game. He kept us in it until we could get it done, and get it done we did!!I wasn't there, but listening on the Brenham radio broadcast (thanks to the tip from NDNzeke), it was a great high school baseball game. Two evenly matched teams playing their hearts out. Both teams were worn out in the 10th inning. PN-G's pitcher K. Lunceford pitched the game of his life. He battled his ass off!!! Great, gutty performance. He made throw after throw. Nice game by all the kids on both teams. GO INDIANS!!!
Game ball should go to Lanford. Aka Lunceford.Yep. Kaiden was a real life hero in this game. He kept us in it until we could get it done, and get it done we did!!
Thanks for the update. I would have hated to sit around for two hours waiting for the game.According to the Brenham radio broadcast, the coaches on both teams have agreed to push tomorrow's start time to 3:00 p.m. @ Crosby High School's baseball park. GO INDIANS!!!
“Gilkee” also played well. But i would have to give it to Langford, Lankford, Lanford.Game ball should go to Lanford. Aka Lunceford.
YesGame ball should go to Lanford. Aka Lunceford.
Boy the catch in center mid game saved a run and hence the game.“Gilkee” also played well. But i would have to give it to Langford, Lankford, Lanford.
Admittedly PNG Probably has more difficult to pronounce LAST NAMESYes
I think I would be embarrassed to just totally (not a pronunciation problem like Ben-oit vs Ben-wah (I’ve heard both) but when it should he hooked on phonics gee whiz)
Yall see the S at the end of Grove ? No? Don’t see it?
Don’t see Lunce ? It looks like Lan? Ok
Get some help
That’s where his wife needs to be in the booth and elbow him LUNCEFORD
GROVESSSSSSSSS
Apologies for the intentional pettiness. Partly in jest as pointed out with the ‘Brenha’ comparison. Just making a point that game announcers should at a minimum be able to read and not repeatedly insult a player or community with ignorant, intentional or not, verbalization. A name is a name. Get it right, it’s not that difficult. And please, Mr. radio sidekick/radio coach, back away from the microphone and don’t force the audience to hear your breathing for the entire game. Or your critique of the PNG coaching decisions. Other than that, excellent baseball broadcast with the expected Brenham lean to it.Admittedly PNG Probably has more difficult to pronounce LAST NAMES
But not LUNCEFORD and not Groves
Several Groves not one single Grove
