You should be proud! It was awesome. First class production and support. Two great announcers/moderators. Lots of good information from Coach Joseph about 2026. The Indians will play lots of kids, get three QBs ready for the season, and find ways to get the ball to playmakers. On defense, the Indians will rely on Coach McDaniel, Coach Wilson, et al. to find a bunch of kids to swarm to the football. GO INDIANS!!!

Where do you go to join PNG Football alumni org?
 
Amazing. We have hoped for some type of coaches show for many, many years. Excellent job. But not surprised given the great talents of James Ware and Greg Picazo. Both are true media professionals as is Mike Tobias. The PNG Nation should be grateful for these leaders and experts in their crafts.
And the sponsor support is great. It shows you what a coordinated effort can achieve in the top football community in Texas.

And what a blessing to have Coach Jeff Joseph at the helm. A great human being. And coach Matt McDaniel heading up the defense. What a warrior. Both are well on their way to being PNG legends. Finally, thanks to coach Todd Dodge for responding to the email that was sent with hope and a dream. It didn’t turn out exactly as imagined, but it probably turned out to be something better, one of the greatest coaching staffs in the state.

The dedication and influence of PNG alumni, across the state and nation, extends far and wide.

Another awesome podcast. James Ware and Greg Picazo are excellent announcers/moderators. The show never hits a dead spot. They are well prepared and natural talents with a microphone and camera. The podcast is another example of PN-G being a leader, not a follower.
 
Add it to the list: One of the best weekly high school football coach’s shows in the state. Kudos to the alumni association for a product that is both informative and entertaining.

Coach Joseph appears to view pre-district games much like modern preseason games are viewed by NFL head coaches. This may not always result in the best overall record, but it will end up yielding the best overall success during the season. It is actually the philosophy SOC has adopted in recent years and it is very smart.

After listening to Coach Joseph’s explanation during this episode I have a much better understanding of the reasoning behind the particular type of practice facility that was chosen. Although not necessarily the type I would have preferred, it does make sense and will be a great benefit to multiple sports programs as well as the band etc.

I might be in the minority but there are a long list of pros for the open style over closed in

I’ve listed some before
But besides the mildew
Getting close to 200 kids in through doors is a pain
I’m sure their fire code is much much more lax with that design
And sorry for the multiple repeats

But at Texas High we had an indoor practice facility since 1972 (they’re on their 3rd one) and it’s still to this day the strongest mildew smell I’ve ever smelled
I’m sure it couldn’t have been good for our lungs
NONE of us wanted to be in there 13-15 years after it was built.
My opinion
If you can build it where some part of the early morning puts the turf in sunlight that’s great kills mildew within minutes

That was unexpected but appreciated. Especially after doing it for 26 years. I’m glad that the website got some exposure and maybe more people will enjoy it.

Also appreciate being declared 4 years younger. ;)
