I watched end of game. They made a couple of big mistakes at the end that cost them, including an unsportsmanlike penalty after taking the lead with about a minute left, followed by a delay of game penalty on the kickoff. This had them kicking from the 20 and they proceeded to allow TC a big runback to around Nederland 25. They got the ball back with about 45 secs left after a quick TC score and moved it to around the 25 before throwing an Int in the end zone.Nederland lost 40-35. Must have had trouble rebounding from last week. They should have won this game.

Flako Valdvinos was to be a go to RB for Nederland. Glad he is an Indian now.PNG Sophomores showing out tonight in the 1st half. Jaxon Neeb, Gavin Jones, Jude Stewart, and Flako Valdovinos. Hope to see some more in the 2nd half
#14? Wow! That's the truth, I was really impressed with his runs.Flako Valdvinos was to be a go to RB for Nederland. Glad he is an Indian now.
I think we witnessed the emergence of a star who will be a big factor in the playoffs. Coach Joseph wanted Flako Valdovinos to get lots of playing time on JV before he brought him up.#14 is not the biggest RB, but he when he gets the ball, he hits the gas and zips through the hole. Can you imagine throwing him a short little flare pass out of the backfield? There is no way a DE or LB could keep up with him. I'd love to see #14 have a shot to get the ball and get to the outside. He'd take it to the end zone.
At one point last night in third quarter, three OL, the TE, H-Back, and QB were juniors, the RB #14 is a sophmore, and on defense, two of the three DL were sophmores, one LB was a sophmore, and the DBs were either JRs or sophmores, except for #23 Malveaux who is a senior. The future is pretty bright. Anyone looking for PN-G to take a step back has another thing coming.
GO INDIANS!!!
Do you think they could make it to Jerry World again. Our Indians are in good shape heading towards the playoffs. Get prepared for a very deep run. I'm talking December...
I agree, you can tell he’s a natural and will be a valuable asset for the next few years. I noticed we did open up a few new wrinkles this week. I saw a couple of tackle pulls with Reeves, the traps from Keith looked good too. Admittedly this was a weaker team, but it is nice to see us get back to a more traditional run game, not just wide zone every play and hope Jude beats them to the edge. Also, I know it’s been mentioned but Tyson has really stepped up blocking on the designed QB runs. I’m glad we had a rain game that made us run the ball a lot. We needed to get back to our identity. Hopefully we keep it up. If a team has to stop Tyson from running, Jude from scrambling, Daylen deep, Benkert across the middle and Jake on the 7 yard outs, man that a bad day to be a defender.I'm suspicious. Secret coaching? Playoffs will tell
Just FYI, the snap was actually pretty good. It just was fumbled at the catch.Henry TD to top 4000. Bad snap results in missed PAT.
