Rain @ PN-G vs. Lumberton Game

I've been in the stadium during downpours. Sometimes, the field will flood, but it takes less than half an hour to drain when the rain's over and I haven't seen it seriously flood since there was still construction going on in the area behind it (where the old auto shop was). But I also haven't...

    "Indian March"

I don't believe it does. I texted the percussion section leader two days ago and nothing he said sounded like they were replacing one tradition with another, although this coming week presents special circumstances because it's band parent night.

    "Indian March"

There's going to have to be some time for the percussion section to rejoin the band to play Cherokee during the run-through. The major question in my mind is how this is going to fit in with the band marching in around the track. I suppose if they come in and play Cherokee on the track early...

The Game To Watch This Week

Vidor is probably going to come down to how we can stop the running game. We were very well-prepared for it last year and led Vidor 22-0 going into the fourth quarter. A combination of our defense and our offense's ability to capitalize on Vidor's mistakes completely killed their momentum early...

I know they're undefeated in district and are showing no signs of slowing down. They play Nederland at Nederland Tuesday.

The Game To Watch This Week

Silsbee defeated Livingston, 43-32. Also, LC-M downed 3A #4 Coldspring-Oakhurst tonight in a shocker at Bears Stadium, 35-20. Despite that, I think it's more than fair to say that Lumberton, LC-M, Central and Livingston are all well within our reach. If we can get on a roll, this team will...

The Game To Watch This Week

Speaking of WO-S and their two shutouts this year, one team that has had a rocky preseason is Central. They started off strong and almost beat a Memorial team they caught off guard, but then turned around and stumbled against West Brook and WO-S (their loss to WO-S could have easily been much...

The Game To Watch This Week

You're right. They did, and I completely spaced on that. LC-M is another team to watch. They've got a ground game.

The Game To Watch This Week

In my opinion, one of the most telling games that will take place this week is Livingston at Silsbee. I realize using teams you've played as measuring sticks against other teams that play them is far from a foolproof method, but Silsbee has played both PN-G and Lumberton so far. PN-G won, 21-20...

    Upcoming Talent

If I remember correctly, this year's seniors went 2-8 as freshmen, only beating LC-M and Lumberton. The pipes are stuffed with talent. PN-G has a very bright future.

My challenge to the Indian Nations

That's what I was getting at. I have seen the crowd throw teams off before. And coming from friends who played for Vidor and Livingston in 2008, 2009 and 2010, the PN-G crowd is very intimidating to the folks on the opposite sidelines.

    DEAR PLAYERS AND COACHES!!!

JB was the first to predict the 10-0 season. Call me superstitious, but if he can do it once, he can do it again. So for that reason, I'd take his question seriously.
