    Good sign. On Max preps where formerly all the teams I follow had 3-4 games on schedule. Now most of them have full schedules booked. Nederland is our first district game. Unusual right?

    This circumstance BIG time favors cultures like PNG where the kids have been running the same system since youth football (basically) and tend to responsibly stay in shape on their own.

    And I second. The PNG uniform is one of the most beautiful uniforms and helmet combos out there. I prefer less silver but I know that’s an incentive to players. I love the white helmets and purple facemasks.

    Glad Texas City is in the district. MAN if you just dropped me off there blindfolded you definitely might mistake TC for the PN-G area. Very very similar towns. From the style of houses (nicely kept older small houses)(rare) right down to the waterfront rec area and chem plant on the horizon.

    Quite a coincidence. Rez is up against my alma mater stadium Texas High. Haha. Much improved but nowhere near PNG facilities. Now if they hadn’t put in turf recently THS DID have the best natural grass field maybe anywhere. Shame.

    Just to think this (corona) was going on in China almost halfway into the football season including discovery and coverup. No telling how many cases we actually maybe had here in the US from business travel etc prior to us knowing what we were looking for.
