Charlie's son David is a current coach for PNG. I had the pleasure of knowing them both. Great people. I heard Charlie was incredible athlete. Would have loved to have seen it myself.- PNGFan01

Track and Field
I watched Pat Abel dunk taking off from the free throw line. He was known as "Air Abel" back in the day. He could flat jump! Was unreal. Guys speed? Ron "McGill" Chatagnier was mid 10's in the 100m. Regularly. I used to go watch their track meets. I'm convinced his 40 time was legit 4.3s. I...- PNGFan01

I agree with the stats but there is absolutely no truth to just because someone is from here means they aren't a good coach or can't win. It's a product of not considering the coach and them getting the job just because they are local. It doesn't mean a local guy or gal can't be a great winning... -

Satcher hasn't lived or coached anywhere near here for over 30 years. Not necessarily local. Graduated in 90. Played on the 89 quarterfinals team. Played at Tarleton State if I'm not mistaken. I can say this. He's a super intelligent football guy. Mike Leach smart. He's BY CHOICE taken some... -

Time to bring home David Satcher. He's been head coach in some really tough districts in which at times they didn't even have weight rooms. Chose to take positions with under privileged kids. Is a defensive mastermind. Time to bring him home and see what he can do with talent. Very smart smart... -

Jacie Droddy. Many of her school records will probably never be broken. Including 100m, 200m, Long Jump. Also part of 4x100 and 4x200 record setting teams.
