Were either of the championship games televised? I can't remember.

Seems that I remember someone saying that archived footage from a local news station was lost in a fire. And maybe the game tape was in that location. Not sure, that could be inaccurate.
Been away with sick parent so I have not read this board.

There is no film we have looked forever. We think what happened is it was cut up-into def and off like they used to do with tape and lost. Maybe Malone threw it out with the other stuff he trashed coach Winn and Cobb would know.

The State Cham reunion is April 9,10,11 I will ask around, but I am certain there is none.

I do remember it was shown the next Sunday. Been 38 years, gets fuzzy.

I have that memorabilia copied and will get it to you this week

Brain just got unfroze, if you ever delt with a older parent you will understand.

Was shown at the 20 year reunion 1995 that was recognized at 1/2 time with the 53/55 team then we went to the PN Senior citizen center and watch the video.

Never to be seen again.

Confirmed my recollection with 3 others that were there too.

Hope the parents are ok. If Malone did that someone should have stopped him.

The new web site is 75% done. I'll probably make it available here first so that you guys can provide some feedback. The memorabilia/history enhancements are going to make a nice difference. Also included will be all team records that were available.

I have not seen a better high school site anywhere else. You'll all enjoy it.

Everyone that has contributed, thank you. Everyone else that can but hasn't, please consider. We're capturing history and trying to preserve whatever we can.

The Mid-County Madness Bum Phillips Bowl video included several plays from the 1975 championship game with Permian. So I'm thinking that the producers of that show must have located a copy of the game (or at least the highlights). Does anyone have a contact with the people listed at the end of the broadcast?

I've heard from sources that video exists. But people hold on tightly to such material.

Whoever has the film, please share it. Post those gems on www.pngindians.com and add more lore to the Honor, Pride and Tradition of PN-G.

Go Indians. Peace.

I have a thumbnail coming that has the State game and MOST games from 74/75/76 and 77. I also have a copy of Greg Davis's speech Saturday to the team. I will email the Davis video, I have it in a form of email. Geoffroy is making the computer thing, I will see if he can burn one for you and I will mail. It will be 3 or 4 weeks until they are done.

I will post when done. We also have the scouting report (defensive) from the State game, I will see if we can get that too.

Bark, you are THE MAN when it comes to PN-G memorabilia. Thank you for contributing to www.pngindians.com.

Go Indians. Peace.
Actually it is Fuller and Romero who did it. I just left a message with Kirk (lives in Canada) and see if we can get a copy of the Pa News special, thumbnail and Davis's 25 second video donated to the site.

I'm subscribed to the e-edition of the PA News and I've already downloaded the Astrodomination insert to my laptop (if that's what you mean by the PA News special). Are there any copyright concerns with publishing it on our website? If not, I can ftp it today. It's a 45mb pdf file.

I wouldn't think so, its not like you are charging for it. Seems like a you tube type post. I will have the thumb thing mailed to the IndianFan in 3 or 4 weeks. I will try to email the Davis deal this week.

Sounds great! It would be a great addition towards preserving that history. Pngindians.com is and always will be a non-profit site. There won't be any controversy unless it's from folks who are trying to profit from the same.

And for those of us who grew up in that era, it would be a dream come true to revisit it.

To all who found, copied, pasted, and made the Astrodomination piece available on www.pngindians.com, thank you. That was awesome to see and read. And, thanks to the sponsors of the Astrodomination piece.

Go Indians. Peace.

A lot more goes into it than copying and pasting, but I understand what you mean.

It is a very nice addition to the collection.

Looking forward to receiving video. If enough content is eventually received, I'll build out a better representation of a virtual museum.
