To the contrary of that we have been winning. Yes our offense is advanced for 9th graders to stop. It's the defensive season we had that catches my eye. They had 5 shutouts that season and a couple more were a touchdown was scored on our second team. These other 9th grade teams didn't do it with defense.We’ve been doing that for the past 12 years and it hasn’t translated to the Varsity level. Big difference!!
I hope you’re right!!With the new defensive coordinator who enforces work and tackling, things are going to change for the better at the Reservation beginning this season. The ability to play good defense has always been there. The physicality and technique has been missing. A team plays like it practices. The powder puff defense is over.
