I’m probably going to have to miss more games (at least the start of the game)
Than since 2014
Knowing me I’ll still show up at halftime haha

Matt “Stepp-child” would rather be WRONG than ever give us any credit or accolades! I have family in Huntsville…long time Athletic Boosters and season ticket holders who are also good friends with Coach Southern…FANTASTIC guy btw! We talked football a little at the family 4th of July party and they’d probably roll their eyes at that predication too…lol!
But he was the only one that picked us to win state. So he tends to go out on the edges.

You’re right. At the end of the day, no one has a clue. To use an old project management term, it’s a WAG (wild a** guess) at this stage of the race. And it’s just a natural fan reaction to question any opinion that doubts our teams capability.

If the PN-G OL and DL stays healthy, the Indians are a serious threat to repeat. The OL and DL may be the best ever to come through PN-G. They certainly were last year...they have the hardware and rings to prove it.

There is nothing in the GT that even compares to the PN-G football experience. And that includes years that we haven’t won as much as desired.

Well, WO-S has been great. Just on a smaller scale in terms of the fan support and student participation.

True…he got it RIGHT that time :p! I’m usually not surprised cause he has always been a bit of a “outlier” with his predictions but the fact he picked Huntsville to win District and Region was a little shocking…lol! Could Huntsville pull it off? ABSOLUTELY! But putting all my purple bias aside…it’s gonna be TOUGH to beat the Joseph/McDaniel JUGGERNAUT and BACK to BACK seasons of battle tested EXPERIENCE!!

WO-S is done until a coaching change--MUST have a firm disciplinarian.

While we're talking about WO-S, with last year's state title win, PN-G has tied the Mustangs for the most state title wins and most state championship appearances of any Golden Triangle-area program at four and eight, respectively.

If we win another state championship this year, we'll reclaim the records for most titles and appearances of any Golden Triangle-area team--accolades the Mustangs wrested away from the Indians in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

I don't know about y'all, but I'm really enjoying PN-G being the Golden Triangle's standard bearer in high school football again.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
