Team apparently did well in the PNG tournament, winning three of the four games for which scores are available. A 5th game is listed on their schedule for the tournament, but no score for it is available and it is possible it was not even played. The teams record is now 8-2 in non-scrimmage games for which scores are available, with two missing scores for scheduled games that may have been cancelled for unknown reasons. The district appears to be shaping up as a three way race between PNG, 7-1 Nederland, and perennial powerhouse Barbers Hill with a record of 11-1.
