2025 PN-G Indians.

Isn’t there another new player playing safety from memorial?
I heard he was one of the two kids that came from basketball. Jackson at WR, and then this player. Can't remember his last name... dad was a football player in college. Unless there is another player, also

Looks like Brockelman is new from Barbers Hill. Young player with not much film.

#68, left DE in this video. Slinging a guy down. He looks aggressive.

Live rep intersquad scrimmage on Saturday. Lots of key pieces still out for baseball and such so first week in pads was a tough read. But here are some highlights of what I did notice. Still trying to get a handle on all the new faces but here is what I got. At least one of the new 2027's that came over from basketball really seems like he could possibly earn starting job. The one playing safety, I only got a first name (Baylen), is VERY athletic, to the point I wouldn't be surprised if he took safety and they moved McLeod down to OLB. No reason to think this would happen but it seems plausible as our linebackers are a ? right now. The other Bball player of note (Johnathan) is taking reps at tight end tall lean frame (guessing 6'4 or 6'5", maybe ~200lbs) will need a LOT more reps to learn the blocking schemes and technique, but has some serious speed and GOOD hands. I hear Chris Diaz is coming back, but have yet to see him. Elijah Washington is getting some RB reps and that young man has got some wheels. He ran a 23.32 - 200m in T&F this year. Which is only .49 seconds of off Blair's PR that I could find. Although I imagine Henry will be our work horse I could see Washington being used situationally as we further develop our playbook. Cash Barnwell looks damn good at nose guard, he is very active, he is playing with a chip on his shoulder and it is impressive. I know it is early but I am going to go ahead and say I think we will continue to have one of the best O-Line's in the state. I'm guess it will end up LT to RT (Wolford, Lofton, Metts, Reeves, Black) OR (Wolford, Matney *the big freshman*, Lofton, Reeves, Black) this would open Metts back up to H/TE, where he may be needed. Also recently heard a rumor that there is a player who has moved back, unfortunately thats all the info I have. Sounds like he is a 2027 and was pretty good in his younger days and family has recently moved back to Groves. Still very early and have yet to even see the complete team; between competing sports, and a few not dressed out for injury or illness, but I am excited. Right now it feels more like a reload not a rebuild year. I think we will continue to be very competitive.
Bump. This is from April but good content.

KWHI is reporting that 2027 RB Jakoby Dixon is no longer with the Brenham football program and got confirmation from Cub head coach Danny Youngs.

Very interesting development as Dixon currently holds nearly 20 offers.

I heard a new WR is coming in that is explosive. Nothing more, could just be hearsay from my teenage daughter!
May be the former sub-varsity player that has been mentioned briefly. Next level speed has been described. Not much talk about that here because it’s hearsay to this point. The mystery continues.

Per the news, Brisboe, Guidry, and Jackson all caught TD passes. None of them were on sub-varsity last year. Jackson is new from basketball.
Gohlke didn’t get one? I wasn’t clear on who was who, but I thought Gohlke had a nice diving TD catch.
