Just heard that our new Offensive Line Coach AJ Roland has resigned, effective today. He has taken an offensive coordinator position with Mesquite Horn in the DFW area. Curious to see how this plays out. With several Oline prospects getting lots of college attention I hope they bring in someone high caliber to push those guys to their potential.

Call Charlier Feller. I know he made a mistake and whatever he did upset a lot of people, but everyone deserves an opportunity to seek forgiveness, make amends for their transgression(s), and to have a second chance. He was an outstanding OC and OL coach. The games he called in 2022 and 2023, especially in the playoffs, were outstanding. He had Rouse, Lake Creek, Huntsville, Liberty Hill, and SOC guessing at what the Indians were gonna do next. I'm guessing the holier than thou group will never let that happen.

I couldn’t agree more with what you said. Everyone makes mistakes, and while accountability is important, so is grace and the opportunity for redemption. Charlier Feller deserves that chance. He’s not just a proven coach — he’s someone who’s already built relationships with many of these kids and helped shape them on and off the field. The offense he led was dynamic, smart, and incredibly well-prepared, especially in those deep playoff runs. That kind of impact doesn’t disappear overnight.

With only two months left until the season kicks off and offseason already underway, we should give him a call — waiting any longer puts us behind.

I’d go have a talk with the offended parties and see if they could have a phone call chat
Give him an opportunity to apologize sincerely
Heck
After I moved to TXK in my small rural (outside of TXK) elementary school
All boys in my class (except for 5-6) I got in a fist fight with in that 2 years before JR HIGH well we were tight all the way through JH HS and beyond

Nothing like a fight to make you close friends. Ha

Big ? for upcoming season. Need to get it resolved quickly. I have faith that Coach Joseph has the necessary connections to address the situation appropriately. Hopefully, he had some advance warning that it might be coming.

Sounds like an upgrade in position at least. He did what he needed to do for his family and career. The good thing is no one is irreplaceable. Next man up.
