Yeah, I watched a video of their performance and it was absolutely FABULOUS…the best one I’ve seen in quite a few years! It’s just so difficult for the smaller 5A schools to compete with the larger ones who have more kids and bigger budgets to purchase extravagant props and costumes EVERY year! Maybe a Div I and II split for band competitions should be considered because it’s becoming like football with seeing the SAME bands from the larger schools always advancing to State.
 
I can verify that the band support in some districts is insane. Cy-Fair ISD for example. Yes they are all 6A schools but the resources that these bands have is incredible.
