In 2025 Texas City played a nine game regular season going 5-4 and finishing 4th in region 3 district 9. In the last five years Texas City is 39-15. With 114 PF vs 157 PA in those five years. A game average of 23 PF vs 31 PA. Texas City has made the playoffs each of the last five years. Advancing to the Area round in 2021 before losing to Texarkana 24-31 to finish 10-2. In the last four years Texas City has lost in bi-district in 2025 7-28 Brenham, 2024 7-14 Brenham, 2023 24-37 Huntsville, and in 2022 7-25 to Lake Creek.
In Region 3 District 9 the last two years Texas City (12-9) district included Richmond Randle (31-1), Iowa Colony (24-4), and FB Marshall (16-7). Against Randle TC lost in 2025 7-25 and 13-21 in 2024. Against Iowa Colony TC lost in 2025 7-40 and 21-31 in 2024. Against FB Marshall TC lost in 2025 10-38 and 7-31 in 2024.

Texas City has been very competitive in many games the last five years.
MaxPrep has no season stats available for 2025 team players. A work in progress.

Appears TC graduated their defensive secondary. Three of four TC LBs return on defense. PNG returning receiver corp will need to exploit TC secondary.

Thanks. Better detail and focus than you’ll find on DCTF. I may finally pull the trigger and drop my subscription this offseason. No desire to hear about DFW and other nonsense. And NDN Press coverage eliminates the need for the subpar TexanLive productions.

A simpler high school football experience focused on PN-G is this fan’s goal moving forward.
