Did anybody hear what the final attendance count was? I know AT&T staff was freaking out when they started having to open sections they don’t normally have to for high school games. I overheard a couple of them saying how crazy it was and were scrambling to figure out what to do. “KEEP IT CRAZY INDIANS.” Congratulations on a great year.

Dave Campbell article only listed the attendance as 32,098. That could be wrong because the article said the final score was 34-4

Great game and season for the 2022 Indians. Last night, PN-G gave everything they had to give. What more can you ask for? The kids played hard, the coaches had a great game plan, and PN-G gave it a great shot. Outstanding first half, SOC grabbed the momentum in the 3Q when the Indians had some miscues, and SOC ran out the clock in the 4Q. All the kids competed and played well. No Debbie Downers. How about those Indians in AT&T Stadium? Great crowd. I would have guessed low 40,000s. PN-G and Southeast Texas was out in force and the SOC crowd was strong, too. Both sides had fans on three levels...the lower seats and second levels were full. Overflow crowds sat in the endzones and third levels. Third level was sparse on the SOC side and I could not see the third level on the PN-G side because it was above me and I was under the overhang from the second level. Parking was a pain in the ass. Three open lanes and taking credit cards, only, slowed things down and the exit lanes after the game were poorly managed and the security people directing the flow of traffic had single digit IQs. Combine all that with the construction on I-30 and around the Six Flags feeder roads and you have a cluster fest of exponential proportions. I'm hoping a PN-G fan had a snapshot of the Marching I at halftime. It was awesome to see the Marching I at AT&T. It gave you a sense of pride...goosebumps. Go Indians. Thanks for a great season.

90NDN...thank you! The spelling of PN-G and INDIANS looked great at Jerry's World. Seeing the Marching I and hearing Cherokee inside AT&T were icing on the cake. Tremendous pride by PN-G students, their parents, alumni, fans, and all the surrounding communities of Nederland, PA, Beaumont, BC, OF, WO-S, LC-M, Vidor, Silsbee, Lumberton, et al. for the support. On the drive home, our group kept saying, enjoy the moment...then we all started asking who's coming back next year...who are the JRs, SOPHs, and FROSH that will continue this great run started by the awesome class of 2022-2023? #19 at QB? #33 at RB? Who will be back on the OL? At WR? TE or H-Back? We will miss lots of great kids on DEFENSE...#48, #44, #6, #16, #3, too many others to type. Enjoy the moment...enjoy the moment...thanks to the 2022 Indians. Great ride.

I was told that the 32,000 was the amount of tickets that were sold for that particular game. So the fans that stayed and watched the previous games were not able to be counted in the total attendance. SOC looked like the majority of their fans were on the first level and the rest were spread out on different levels. It looked to me most of the other level on their side were fans who stayed after they played. So with that being said. I truly believe there was at least 45,000+ at that stadium last night.

Me, too. I've got some questions about that in to people in the know. No guarantee I'll get an answer, but I think there were a lot of Indian fans who showed up for the Boerne-China Spring game that weren't counted in the PN-G attendance number.
