A comment that was intended to recognize the strengths of the current PN-G head coach/OC/QB coach who has helped develop an NFL QB among others, has been selected to coach several statewide all-star teams, and the fact that the Indians have a current QB that has rewritten the passing records in only one season with another to go, and a running game that has broken many records, has been misconstrued.

This topic is about the 2014-15 PN-G team and their accomplishments in 7-7. Not the 1953-55, 1974-77, 1989, or 1999 Indians, who we all know were great teams filled with many talented and hard nosed players. Nothing can ever take that away, just as that '99 team doesn't take away from current coaches and players.

And MB was recognized with a Texas coach of the year award, just as Faircloth was recognized in 2009.

If the Indians improve their defensive play, this coach, QB and team can accomplish just as much as prior teams.

Good luck in 7-7 and the 2015 season Indians!
