Yep, I liked there halftime show until they began performing simulated sexual acts to our turf. WTH was that?

If that type of thing was done intentionally, maybe it's best in the future that the Central band not be allowed on the field. Both bands could just play from the stands.

Can someone please explain???

Dirty dancing - REAL DIRTY!!!!

A group of seven guys came out called the "temptations", presumably after the famous group? The leader was in the middle dancing (dirty, but not nothing too crazy). There were 3 guys on each side of him who were on their bellies giving the business to the turf. It was brief, but it was embarrassing to me.

maybe im missing something....sure they're band isnt like ours but I didnt see anything that was that far out of line. In fact I remember most in the stands giving them a standing ovation. The fight was disgusting, not the Central band.

I thought the band was great. The lady at the end was a good finishing touch. I just found the one group a little border line pushing it for a high school football game. The dancing I can handle, gyrating on the ground is a little over the top.

From reading other posts, it sounded like the Central band left items on the field or did things that made the field difficult for our band to perform.

I remember back in the Lincoln days when my sister was an Indianette, they all dreaded the Lincoln games because when the Indianettes would line up standing at attention against the track on the visitors side (Lincoln), many of their fans would spit loogies on the back of the girls legs. I can remember many of the parents complaining to the school board until the director changed the field entrance.

Sorry, its hard to type when I'm ROTFL!! LOL! I wouldn't respond to this post if some paid me. (but I am dying to ask "what" the Central band left on the field after dirty dancing). :band:

I felt for a HS football game that it was too over the top. Not something that I want my 4 year old watching and imitating.

They were playing while Hightower was hurt but I dont think they noticed. When they did they immediately stopped.

That's what I saw too. I thought imediatley about it and looked up and noticed about 10 seconds into it that the band director was stopping them when he noticed there was an injury. Halftime was entertaining. "I need someone skinny to step up and show 'em how it's done!" Priceless!
