I watched it until right before the live game. We looked pretty good. Our offense moved the ball decent and our defense played with a lot of passion. We led 1-0 when I left. I talked to someone who watched one quarter of game action and we were leading 7-0. Whoever was wearing #7 as the backup RB was playing very good. He had a lot of energy and attitude about him. I was pleasantly suprised given the team we were playing and the reports after last week.

I think Png won the controlled part 2-1. I know we won the two qtr game 9-6 with a nice td run by Harmon. The defense stopped pam on just about everything but one long run. They also had a safety. The offense took the ball last few minutes and rammed it down their throat to run the clock out. What a difference a week makes. We need to work on our pass protection and catching the ball. BUT I'm sure team will work on it next week. Good job coaches and players!

I work with some of coach Broussards former players and they all say he is a great defensive coach and a good motivator. Looks like his defense is turning the corner some. Geat to see the way they handled the speed of PAM

Thanks to the local alumni and fans for the PAM scrimmage reports. Good to hear that we are improving. Playing competitive teams like Jasper and PAM will help our kids in district. Playing teams with size and speed and learning how to compete and be successful will pay dividends. Sounds like MB and the DC Broussard will field a scrappy defense after all ... maybe they will be inexperienced underclassmen, but MB will motivate them to limit big plays and make some stops. Good to hear the OL played well and the offense moved the chains. With more time, the QBs and WRs will find a groove. Looking forward to making the drive from Houston to Barbers Hill.

Go Indians. Peace.

I was there and i think overall we were really good. The defense was great. They had a few missed tackles, but who doesn't. Our offense did not look too bad. They need to work on passing. It looked like PAM was keyed in on josh. Every play it looked like they were sending four to five guys his way. That is how it is probably going to be all year. He is not a secret and teams will be keying on him. Caleb looked great running the ball, and will take a lot of pressure off of josh. Overall, we looked much improved from last week and we should be ready for next week.

Yes. We had starters out Saturday against Memorial, DE Aaron Shetley and IL Christian Kerr. Both of these two intend to be able to play next Friday. But another injury to DT Blake Patin at last weeks scrimmage leaves him out for 6 weeks on a knee injury. Another big man got hurt this Saturday DT/OL Spencer Allen.not sure what the extent of his injury..... Just reporting what i know

Great improvement, from the standpoint of overall team. Pass routes that are run are still predictable. The JV and Freshman squads have more routes across the middle. I mean i wish i was a defensive coordinator for another team because you know on 1st and 2nd down your defense can cheat and play the run and when it comes to 3rd down you know that their will only be two passing options to go too. I hope that our coaches are keeping some of the cats in the bag, so we can utilize a talented group of young men and give them the opportunity to win. Don't get complacent with your system. Have the running and passing game keep the defense guessing, not predicting what you are going to do next. Good luck next week, GO INDIANS
