UIL is concern with the decline in attendance from 2022 attendance ~200,000 to a 2023 attendance of 193,776 to 159,560 in 2024. A recent loss of 34,216 attendees.
It’s time the UIL move the games to a more central state location. San Antonio Alamo Dome for example. Or Alternate with NRG covered roof stadium.
ATT stadium is a “home” game for DFW teams while the rest of the state has to drive half a day to attend.
Pay to watch Network broadcast of games has also cut into attendance due to travel time and costs to for fans to attend a game. While DFW teams/fans travel 30 minutes to attend.

It's not moving. You can say a lot of things about Jerry Jones, but he supports Texas high school football. I don't think Jerry Jones charges the UIL for use of AT&T. The TV carrier is Dallas-based, and the UIL likes how things are run at AT&T. Plus, what Texas kids doesn't grow up dreaming of playing where the Dallas Cowboys play? Also, DFW does not travel to Houston, San Antonio, or Austin. Whereas, Houston area teams, e.g., Katy, North Shore, and more recently, PNG have proven that they WILL travel to AT&T. The 12,000 lbs elephant in the room is TV and Internet streaming. That's why people are staying home. Diehard PNG fans will travel. 95% of schools aren't like PNG. They will stay home and watch their kids on TV. Just my 0.02 cents.

Go Indians!

His grandson played QB at Dallas Highland Park a few years ago. Keep it within the family.
