We ll have a few guys in the locker room feeling like they’re the goat (old meaning of goat) on this one but that’s the good thing about multiple mental errors can’t point to one particular one that cost the game
(Get em out of your system)
Maybe the venue got in their eyes (one of the nicer college baseball stadiums out there)
But we hit some pretty good pitching (they had multiple warning track shots as well)
So yes Brenham is good but we’re better and I believe we’ll pull it off just can’t let the loss and their toddler fans get in your head.
I could be wrong but I believe all three of their runs had to be unearned

Great. We are in much better shape than I thought if Curtis is available to pitch. The announcers on the Brenham radio broadcast described him as pitching during the early innings. I believe that If not for the uncharacteristic mistakes we would have won this one. Hopefully we will be in the right frame of mind for games 2 and 3 and hopefully the weather will cooperate enough to get those games in.
