The Ganders have been high powered this preseason on offense. They have played a weak schedule. I believe the Indians won this one.

Yes they have (if I remember correctly) two SR stars who were also their best players two years ago as Sophomores. QB and WR. The QB is a runner first. But not a bad passer. Will probably battle Barbers Hill for second place in our district IMO. (In my opinion they’re the third best team in district.

This is a team you definitely cannot look past. The quarterback is a real dual threat player. We have not contained the ends very well all year. This is not your typical Baytown Lee team of the past. We better be ready to play. Good luck and play hard!!!

I think they'll be a tough opponent. We need to get District off to a good start.

I agree with Proud. The Indians have not hit their groove tonight. They are close. Sloppy first half. In the second half, make a few adjustments and PN-G should get the W.

Go Indians! Peace.

Final

PN-G defense played a strong 2nd half. On offense, the Indians did what they had to do for the W. Seemed close to exploding for a big half. When PN-G puts all three phases together, they will be a tough out. Defense bends, but doesn't break. The offense hits its stride and then has a hiccup or two. Kicking game is solid. Good start to the district race.

Go Indians! Peace.

BTW - the Indians won a district championship four years in a row during the seventies, 1974-1977, and here again recently, 2015-2018. Have they ever captured the district crown five years in a row? If they win it again in 2019, that will be five straight. Has that ever been accomplished in the history of PN-G football? I defer to the PN-G historian and #1 fan, IndianFan.

Go Indians. Peace.
