Coach McDaniel, you are greatly respected and appreciated by PN-G Indian fans. Thank you for all you do and for being the great coach, teacher and person that you are.
 
Do what it takes to keep Jeff Joseph and Matt McDaniel in Port Neches. And the rest of the staff as much as possible. A lot of good coaches at PN-G. They lost the regional championship game this year, but went toe to toe with an assembled team that beat the 6A champion this year. And that was at reduced strength. Nothing to hang their head about. Could have been a much different outcome under normal circumstances.

Winning program in place. Awesome new facilities on the way. A lot coming back next season. More talented players in the pipeline. Fans and support always present and ready to back the team. The future looks bright.
 
I'm a believer in HC Jeff Joseph, DC Matt McDaniel, and DL coaches Logan Wilson and Blake Austin. They are the BEST in the business and they have the championship hardware to prove it. If those men are on the sidelines at PN-G, the Indians will win a lot of games and be in the hunt for championships!

How did I miss seeing that Coach McDaniel was the Coach of the Year in 2024? Give him the trophy again in 2025. His PN-G defense was toe-to-toe with SOC's Death Row Defense.

How many starters coming back on defense next year?
 
Players that started or played regularly:
DL - Trevino, Faul
LB - Felps, Flores, Satcher
DB - Malveaux, Valcin, McCleod, Gauthier

Others?

Also I noticed that the kicker #30 Matute looked like an aggressive and hard hitting tackler when he played LB in relief duty.
 
OL is going to be our biggest drop off from this season. Gone are the days of our 6’5”+ 300lb monsters. We better get really athletic and technical at OL quick. Not many options there.
