Well, the truth is, it's going to be a TOUGH battle! BUT one of the things I think we have in our favor, is how many down-to-the-wire, nail-biting games we have been in this year. This team can play under pressure, and not many others can say they've been tested in that way. We've also played some great teams in Texas City, Summer Creek, WOS, Silsbee, Central, Nederland... We've seen teams with outstanding offenses and awesome defenses. We've also played against some great teams with speed. The good news is: We have COMPETED in ALL of those games! Our defense has also been playing some awesome football lately! We have already done what no one expected us to do, and that is to have a winning season and make it to the playoffs. I think it's time to prove them all wrong again!

GO GET 'EM INDIANS!!!

Did anybody notice in the game with Nederland, the Cougs used the swinging gate, and it worked. Thought we taught Big Ned better than that. LOL

Here is what I think. Coach Faircloth took over in 2009 I believe. That year we played the state runner up in Brenham and were supposed to be beaten right off the field. It took all Brenham had to win that game a little more time we would have knocked them off. Next year we played Manvel once again not even supposed to be on the same field with those guys once again we made them play all the way to the end to win the game. This year we played Summer Creek people were giving 30-40 point spreads in the game PNG played them very tough and left there mark on them. PNG knows how to play teams when they are outmatched its kind of a Faircloth staple if you will. He is good in the underdog role. We have nothing to loose and everything to gain which in my eyes makes us a dangerous team. Not many gave us a chance to make the playoffs before the season started. We have something special happening here at PNG we have one of the youngest Indian teams in a long time with back too back district champions in our JV teams and even more impressive back to back undefeated freshman teams. The future is as bright as a super nova at the Reservation so buckle your seatbelts and get ready for some good years ahead in the near future.

good to know - although, I would suspect many people will be at the game tonight that are living in Houston and other areas that will show up early and purchase the tickets at the gate. They may go fast! I wouldn't wait if you are in the Golden Triangle and can purchase your tickets at the High School.
