Brennan Doty on Oregon Ducks roster

I was just curious to look at the Ducks roster and saw that Brennan is listed.

I assumed he would be on the roster since he was a preferred walk-on. I am always looking for updates about duck football now that he is playing there. Hopefully he will get a shot at the QB job by his junior year...their qb from last year is back this year so it will be atleast next year before he would get to compete for the job. That said, I would have thought they would have redshirted him...maybe they are short on qb's?

I expect Doty will be running the scout team this year (along with another walk-on QB). Since it is highly unlikely he will play one down for the Ducks this season, I would expect that he will RS.
