Changes on the Horizon?

This is a huge problem in the DFW metroplex and I don't mean just SOC. It is not limited to SOC. Yes,
Coach Todd has swagger and he's not afraid to say that SOC accepts transfers, but it's a big problem all over DFW. There are widespread transfers in the DFW suburbs. It's a growing problem in the Houston suburbs, too.

End it. This is not college football with portals. Also curtail the transfer of athletes within large districts. For example no 5AD2 school claiming 1500 students should be able to build athletic teams with open transfers from a district of 140,000. Play with the athletes in your own school zone. Have schools disclose transfer data and create a 7A super conference to compete against each other in. If Allen, SLC, Carthage, Aledo or any other school builds teams with significant transfers every year, put them in that ‘super’ classification. You want to play ball that way then go play ball against similar programs. None of this magnet school or open district business that allows ‘super teams’ to be BUILT. Academics , fine. Athletics, no unless a student and his/her family moves in to your designated school zone for legitimate reasons. Level the field and be fair to traditional programs.
