A nice article in the PABlues about him this week. Unfortunately though, he's nursing a groin tear. He didn't play much last night because of it. Let's pray for him, that he heals quickly. Those type injuries take a long time to heal.

According to his mom, it is a strain on one of the muscles going into his knee. He told me last weekend he thought it was his ACL, but according to Dr. Johnston, it's a muscle in his knee, but he is getting better day to day. It was Arnaud's decision to not play him much last night to see if he can come back for next week. Johnston fitted him with a special knee brace.

Great! I know he'll be ready when we really need him. Let him rest for now. We might need him for angleton!

Mentally and emotionally he was ready last night. He never took his helmet off and everywhere Arnaud went, Dallas was right behind him just itching to get in. Kudos to Arnaud for letting him rest and to (hopefully) get the knee back 100% for when we really need him.

Oh, I noticed how he paced and wanted in, all right! What I meant by being ready was for his knee to be ready. No doubt mentally that he is very ready. Good upbringing always shows up.

I was basing my information on his parents, who live across the street from me, and was sitting by me at the game. His parents definitely said "groin tear".

I talked to him tonight. He gave me clarification on his injury. The muscle that runs the length of the inside of the thigh from the groin and inserts into the knee is strained where it goes into the knee. He says without a doubt he will be ready for Friday night. I hope that is not just wishful thinking on his part!

He needs to rest and not over due it too much. That could turn into a very severe injury. I feel he should be used as a last resort. Another week of PT and rest will do him wonders !
