SOC vs Richmond Randle August 28
Brenham vs Huntsville August 28
PNG vs Crawford September 11
DCTXFB Article implies that the super RB that left Brenham last year for a private school has returned to the Brenham football team for the 2026 season.

I would have selected PNG vs PAM opener game. Author influenced by 12-2 Crawford that returns all district players and Offensive and Defensive MVPs from 4AD1 2025 season.

WO-S vs Carthage in week 5 may be the most intriguing of any listed.

Until it’s 30-0 at halftime
Nothing against WOS

There are definitely home grown players for sure I know for a fact a ton are born and raised there

The Ingrams and one other named recent stars (one of which Roschon backed up at UT (Roschon was better) those guys come from one single family (mostly half brothers/ first cousins) AND now they move EARLY (even 7th grade) to play for Surratt) my cousins keep me informed they’re his step brother
And they tell me which year classes are expected to be great
Then of course to have your own son be the starting QB for 3 years that helps

Which I suspect they have a terrific QB in wait
They actually had one of the best RBs I’ve ever seen reminded me of a white Eric Dickerson tall big and deceptively fast
Didn’t even get any reasonable college offers (I think Holland - it was an HH name )
Surratt just has an offense mind and they say his mom is the most competitive person they ever met (inconceivable to me I’ve known Scott since he was 8-10 years old and I would have probably said him lol)
But yes everyone notices how Elysian Fields used to be state contenders every year as well as Evangel in Shreveport hmmm what happened lol
