None of this would have happened without Tammy. Thanks so much for the hospitality you showed to our guest. They now have an experience from The Reservation they will never forget.

Great pics as always! Last night was amazing! We already knew we had the best HS Football in TX, but they said we are in a class all by ourself, and they seriously doubt any other school in the country will be able to measure up to what they experienced at The Reservation! And, that was just a normal Fri night for us...lol! We have all heard the saying PNG has a special spirit... and I NEVER once mentioned that to them, and as we were saying our goodbyes after the game...JJ said..."you guys have a special spirit here, and we are gonna pass it on to all our listeners across the Nation!" WOW! They were speechless when I told them one of our mottos is..."PNG has a special spirit...pass it on!" My challenge to all of Indian Nation, is to keep the fire burning, and the tradition alive! I learned what it means to be a Indian as a child...stand for Cherokee, cheer til the last second ticks off the clock, show up and support win or lose, stand behind the Chief of the Tribe, and ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL!! I have passed that down to my children, and they will pass it down to theirs! Some of the passion and excitement has faded over the years, and lots of people aren't standing for Cherokee anymore, leaving when it seems we aren't gonna win, not cheering loud and proud...etc! That may be the norm at other schools, but we are different, we are unique, we are not like anyone else....WE ARE PNG!!

Just in from JJ and Ron's site:

Congratulations PN-G Indians! Friday night's victory 49-6! We had high expectations to be on the Reservation to watch some Texas high school football. It's true...Everything is bigger in Texas! The pep rally, the game, the fans..WOW, we were blown away! Thanks Port Neches-Groves for making our experience unforgettable!

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
