The Indians are going to have to get serious, buckle up and work harder to perfect their game. Win district, improve each week regardless of level of competition, stop the mistakes, and work towards beating the tough teams like Brenham. They can still make a deep run in the playoffs. Anything is possible.

We got straight whipped in the 2nd half. Might have been the hardest half of football to watch in the Jospeh era, unfortunately. Defense looked like Swiss cheese and offense couldn’t block. They just bullied us on both sides of the ball in the 2nd half. Was hard to watch honestly. Hoping our kids learn from this beat down and really turn it on during district. If not we may be one and done come playoffs.

Yeah, Brenham knocked Liberty Hill out of the playoffs the last 2 years and got banished to Reg 2…sounds kinda familiar, lol!

Coach Joseph consistently reminds everyone that each season is new. Each team is new. Nothing accomplished by a previous team matters. It has no bearing on a new season. This team is 1-3. Almost half as many losses as the previous 4 years. In 4 games.

It matters not how many wins, points scored or yards gained last year. All that matters is how you match up, how you prepare, and how you play each week. Glory is earned and taken, or not.

So forget about past wins, attaining individual records or any notion of being destined to win. Commit now to improve, be accountable to each other, and fight every day for the next win. One at a time. Do that and glory is attainable. This season could be the greatest story of them all.
