A certain fan from Crosby said for several years now that PNG or Nederland would never make state again because of changing demographics in the State of Texas and the way schools combine and form super schools. He stated that schools like ours that are land locked would never make it again. Well I say to him SUCK IT>>>>>>>........
Actually I'm guilty of the same thought pattern. It just seemed that the 3rrd round was the best that we could hope for. I'm HAPPILY wrong about that!

So fun to be on this side of the field watching the players knowing exactly how they are feeling. Kids are having the time of their lives making history right now. And how about a first year head coach taking a team to the championship for the first time in 23 years? I smell another coach of the year, regardless of the outcome.

If Coach Joseph doesn't get Coach of the year, there's something seriously wrong, IMO

Quite a few haters out there who just hate anybody or anything about PNG, Nederland and some other schools. You’ll never hear or read a congratulatory message from those imbeciles. They’re too stuck in their own rotten view of life. PNG has always had some good players and been close. This season they got over the hump and a great group of players and great coaches punched that ticket to Dallas. Along the way they beat dominant teams, fast teams, and successful programs. Super schools can bit the dust just like anyone else when they meet a better team. And PNG is not done yet. Great future ahead with a better history than most ‘super schools’.

That, and 2 injured Liberty Hill RB's who've gained over 3,000 between them watching from the sidelines. Let's be realistic. LH was not at full strength.

I don't think those two injured LH RBs would have made much of a difference. PN-G's defense was outstanding. I'm not knocking your opinion. Just my 0.02 cents.

Depth is a part of the game. Our #33 was actually a back up until we lost #25 to injury. Also we had players on the sideline in casts. Heck we lost our two Sr inside linebackers at the same time for several weeks. And others. I know that you're just referring to last night's one-off game, it's too bad their RBs were out, but still, that's the nature of the game. Besides, I think we still would've stopped them, regardless.

And we have not had to overcome any major problems with injuries this year? (looks like others have already made this point, but it still stands)
