Valid points. Play needs to improve.Love the Indians, but they have been playing average at best for several weeks. Not trying to offend anyone or make anyone mad, but if you’re honest about what you’re seeing you will agree. Every special teams play the opposing team almost scores. Our tackling on defense has been very poor. Clock management by the coaches hasn’t been very good either. I want them to go back to state like everyone else, but they need major improvements to do that. Just my thoughts.
I completely agree with this post. We haven’t imposed our will on anyone all year. Very inconsistent- luck has benefited us several times. I too love my Indians, but this is fact.Love the Indians, but they have been playing average at best for several weeks. My wife said she wanted to watch the game with me finally - she’s asleep on the couch.Let’s all remember they are 15-18 year old kids giving it their best shot. My wife made me write that down as I watch online. GO INDIANS!
Naquin has played.Who are the RBs tonight? I’ve been in and out online. Any sightings of #25 or #26?
Two things can be true at the same time. My view is that we do have a very good team this year but the overall talent does not appear to be at the level of the past two years, particularly on defense. Additionally, the offensive play calling has been below par compared to those years. The good news to me is that although we have seemed somewhat flat the last two games, we seem to be playing with more intensity tonight. And there is still time for improvement before the second round of the playoffs.Let’s all remember they are 15-18 year old kids giving it their best shot.
