Final: PN-G Indians 48, Splendora Wildcats 6

They haven’t called a lot of things on splendora that should have been called. Including a late hit out of bounds. The ref was right there and was about to throw it, but another ref came and he put it back in his pocket

Come on. This is a night to make a better statement than this. Nederland beat these guys 59-6. The state is watching.
Were on a path to do the same if we wish. However, coach will probably play even more backups in the second half. My only significant concerns involve the special teams and a few defensive breakdowns. But it is unclear how much those things have been related to playing backups. It has surely been related to some degree to being flat in relation to the opponent at hand. Based on the Nederland game it might be wise to be a bit better motivated next week.

Playing in Splendora is like playing in the twilight zone. Not much upside. Just get the win and get back home safely.

For Nederland, scoring against Splendora was like eating Lays potato chips. Once you try one you can't stop eating them. There is no glory in running up the score on a bad team but Nederland takes what they can when they can get it.

Glad to see the kicker able to get a kick off for that field goal. To be fair, reserves are getting their big chance. That’s to be expected. To see us doing this well augurs well for the future, since it means that our younger players will have lots of reps, and we’re still this far ahead.

Anyone else still getting error messages on the youtube channel in the houston area. I have a relative there that has been unable to access it the whole game.

The band is in excellent form. Looks like the Indianettes are quite good, but smaller than I have seen before. Maybe just a traveling squad for a less than important game.

Montgomery is beating Huntsville handily. 28-7 at halftime.

Other district scores at halftime.

Dayton 13
Montgomery Lake Creek 34

New Caney West Fork 28
