Maybe, unless they punch them in the mouth. Bust them up a little at least.SOC will beat Huntsville by 14 or more. SOC has the speed on defense to contain Huntsville.
And our DBs need to “want” to hit someone - I agree with 1989 I think it was. Bring the aggression.Crandall won a hard fought game a few weeks ago against Kaufman 31 - 24. So they are the same caliber of team that PNG beat last night. No more easy ones after tonight for PNG or TH. I think next week's game will be a dog fight! TH has 3 solid players - the QB, #3 & #4. Their other starting receivers were dropping balls that hit their hands. Our front 7 on D will need to play lights out to contain that offense. Our offense is a heck of alot better than Crandall so we will move the ball and score against them. What we do on defense is what will tell the tale.
GoodPatrolling the TH messages they do not even consider us a game. They are talking about playing SOC already. Not even mentioning us. This being fans of course.
I agree. We play tight as ever. But like MLC and SOC... kill the big plays. Disrupt their timing and then the confidence follows. Glad these coaches have plenty of past games to pull from to devise a planWell that just proves not EVERYONE from TXK is a genius like myself lol
No it will be a good game
I give us the edge
Believe it or not
I believe false starts will feed their mental state
Might as well consider a false start a 15 yard penalty
THIS!! If Coach Joseph decided not to do the open practice Thanksgiving morning, I’d be totally fine with that…lol!Thanksgiving week is ALWAYS the week for upsets because the players are way out of routine.
Brenham 30-27 over Liberty Hill. Karma strikes again.Sorry, I didn’t see all these other threads
I want LH to lose - I work out here - rich “Karen’s”
What do they say.... karma is a b...Brenham 30-27 over Liberty Hill. Karma strikes again.
That's a great point! We have to stop the handoff sweep with the pulling guard as the lead blocker
And the quick slant
To both Ball
And Wrightner

Just like last year when we played SOC. On paper, SOC had the talent, speed, back-to-back state championships, Yada Yada Yada. Who took that trophy home?Maybe, unless they punch them in the mouth. Bust them up a little at least.
Agreed. The intensity has been slowly rising for about 4 or 5 weeks. Also passing a little more each game.Hard to judge TH based on the Crandall game, as Crandall does not seem to be much better than our previous two playoff opponents (both of whom Crandall beat by about a TD). Having said that, TH did look impressive, and I suspect we will have to have one of our best games of the season to get the W. However, we are certainly capable of that. We probably cannot afford any turnovers, and we will need to minimize the penalties that have at times plagued us during this season. We will also need to step it up even further with regard to our KO and punt coverage. Offensively, I think the running game will be the key, along with enough effective passes to keep them honest on defense. Defensively, I agree with others that have noted the need to get pressure on the QB, as well as the need to really step it up in terms of our tacking. The only way to neutralize their speed is to make sure they cannot use it because they are on the ground. I was very pleased with the intensity we showed during the Kaufman game, and that will need to continue next week.
A lot of Stadiums either had another playoff game booked or no staff available to work because it’s Thanksgiving weekend. What’s the deal with playing in Louisiana? Should be plenty of places available in Texas by this round.
Forgot about that. I seem to recall the same problem occurring the last time we played them in Louisiana. However, I don’t recall that being a problem in other years past during Thanksgiving weekend. More games nowadays?A lot of Stadiums either had another playoff game booked or no staff available to work because it’s Thanksgiving weekend.
I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever. -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
