They look better. Pass protection has been solid. Run game working. O-line is never going to be the problem this season. We need to trust them more.

Joseph and company working a lot on the passing game, which is probably a good idea. Mixed results now but will hopefully pay dividends later. Run game looking solid and could probably have scored more if we had relied on it more.

#10 has dropped 2 perfectly thrown wide open passes, no excuse for that

They did tighten up a stop the drive however.

Ashworth having great game and would have been even better if not for the drops.

Some observations so far

#1 Benkert is our most improved player (he just had a great return while I was typing)
Ashworth throws a great ball off his back foot which he needs because while our OL IS protecting they’re getting bull rushed during pass protection (they’re keeping their body between the DL and the QB)
WHICH IS GOOD
We are a kicker factory (place kicker)
Next week QB is similar to this week just more athletic
22 Valdivinos is a good player great addition
Montgomery is a legit backup at RB

He will get better he had similar issues last year but as the year went on he became what I believe to be the best player on the whole team,This is only his second year playing football.

And the starters handled this game with ease.
