Perhaps around Waco?Any bets where the SOC vs Huntsville area game will be played? In the past SOC played neural playoff games in some small hs venues.

Waco ISD stadium would be a good choicePerhaps around Waco?
If we simply score on every drive, burn up clock with long deliberate possessions, and hold them to one score I’ll feel a little better about the playoffs. For the first playoff game against a relatively weak opponent with a weak defense, it would really be good to see the Indians come away with a big scoring night. 7 or 8 TDs would be a good indicator that the team is ramping up for a long playoff run. Time to unleash the beast. Come out of the gate roaring. Strike fast and strike often.
If we see fundamentally sound football over the next two games, that’s another good sign that the team is rounding into top form and has a good chance to compete well with the ‘powerhouse’ teams on the horizon.
I like that “score on every drive” strategyIf we simply score on every drive, burn up clock with long deliberate possessions, and hold them to one score I’ll feel a little better about the playoffs.
I’m actually comfortable with non-scoring drives if they also take a lot of time off the clock and we play good defense. I think one of the things that’s hurting us on offense this season is Gizzi seems to get impatient if we get stuffed on a play and just starts throwing toward the end zone. I’d rather run for three more and punt than throw an incompletion into the dirt and punt.I like that “score on every drive” strategy
You’re hired as my OC haha
Also, we can’t forget about the short “ball control” (with potential for more) pass, like we have unfortunately not used much this season. We did use these passes more during the Dayton game, and IMO they will be necessary for a long playoff run.Everyone knows this but it’s worth repeating. To be successful, the run does have to be established, but it’s not enough against a top defense. Especially if that team has a potent offense and puts up a lot of points. The pass has to be strategically used to back them off. Even Joseph has stated that deep shots early in the game are a good idea. Clock management is important but we also have to finish drives and score touchdowns when we have the opportunity. From here forward 28-35 points per game minimum while the defense holds them to 21-28.
PNG vs Kaufman, my guess in NacogdochesNo clue. No history of SOC playing Houston area teams at a neutral site. Waco, Tyler? Let’s get through tonight first.
You're right. It's been a long, long time since I've seen this many false starts in one season! My biggest gripe about the offense this season
Is we have to be nearing an all time record for false starts
Those are definitely avoidable and have killed many drives this year
Hard to do ball control when you constantly need 15 yards for a first down.
Yep…seems like they’re too focused on trying to get the defense to jump offsides…ughYou're right. It's been a long, long time since I've seen this many false starts in one season!

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever. -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
