Indians vs Bulldogs: Game Talk

No but I would love to. It's on my bucket list. Cowboys Stadium is big and spacious but has no history. There is only one Cotton Bowl.

With all due respect, it's a pointless topic. Neither community wants the game at LU.

Indians working hard to pull this one out

PN-G defense makes a stop on 4th down at the Indians' 10-yard line...mere seconds left. PN-G holds on for the W! Good game to nerderland. The bulldogs fought, kicked, clawed, and left it all on the field. PN-G did the same...and hung on for the W. Great stop by the INDIANS!!!! Coach Faricloth remains KING of Mid-County for another year!

PN-G 27
nerderland 21

Final

Go Indians. Peace.

Well, if the Nederland coaches were Japanese Army/Navy generals and admirals they'd be committing Seppuku right now for their play calling and execution at the end of the game. 2 shots to make 1 yard, and they threw the ball away on one play and fumbled on the other.

Should we send them FOR SALE signs to stick in their yards? I hear lots of people are moving out of nerderland these days.

Go Indians. Peace.

To play Devil's Advocate, WTH was Barrow thinking on 3rd and short with timeouts remaining and able to run all night?

Thankful that punt didn't come back to haunt us for 12 months.

Great job Indians!

I don't know...nerderland had two shots to convert a first down. I'm guessing ned fans will second guess the 3rd down play call...throwing it...but, per the PN-G radio team, the 4th down play call was a run and a bad snap ruined the timing of the play...and...the PN-G defense made a play to get the STOP! I'll take it. My parents always said the Good Lord was a fan of the PN-G INDIANS! I'll take it.

Go Indians. Peace.

As the game wore on...I think Francis Schroeder turned purple. He had some genuine excitement for the INDIANS after the defense made the last stop. Hopefully, he turns from black and gold to purple and white...maybe he can give up those 26 years of Ned season tickets and become loyal and faithful to the purple and white! Let's hope so. Nice guy...just needs to fully convert and turn purple and white! It would make his life better... God loves the INDIANS.

Go Indians. Peace.

Actually, they were out of time outs. The scoreboard was wrong. They took one early in the 2nd half and 2 on the end.

Ok.. WTH happened here? It's 4th down... Nerdland QB scrambles, goes down on one knee, everyone kinda stops playing... he runs out of the pocket.... throws incomplete out of bounds, as well as a holding call on Nerdland.. Indians Ball, right? Nope! gives it back to Nerdland where his knee went down and gave them another shot... TD bomb!

Even if we declined the penalty, it's Indians ball.

What did I miss???

PN-G Proud...the PN-G radio team said the whole sequence of events was out-of-whack...just a bizarre play. Something about a personal foul on PN-G trumped the other penalties...and there was no explanation for why the play was not blown dead when the nerderland QB went down! The PN-G radio team made it sound like Coach Faircloth was going to explode...he aged 15 years on that play alone.

Go Indians. Peace.

IndianFan - nice write up/article on www.pngindians.com about the 96th MCM/Bum Phillips Bowl. You should write for the PA News, BMT Enterprise, or the Houston Chronicle. Well done. Great job PN-G INDIANS and tip of the cap to Ned. 27-21 good guys.

Go Indians. Peace.

I’m still scratching my head on that one too! I’m no football expert by any means but have NEVER seen a scenario where it’s 4th down...pass incomplete with holding penalty and offense gets another go at 4th down!?! Please keep me posted...I’d love to hear the explanation! ‍♀️♀️♀️

Corey Burt is back this week. He’s probably the best lineman on the PNG side. Great to have him back.
SerIously? You’ve got 2 seniors out there that have played every game the last 2 years injured or not, holding the line together as best they could. With all the injuries and doing pretty well. They’ve all been changing positions trying to find what works. One guy comes back after being out how many games and he’s the best on the line??? Maybe next year, but I think I’ll take Dickerson then too! You all need to appreciate what you’ve got. Next year is going to be really interesting. Glad my kids out.
