Kyler Murray

Will/should the cardinals draft Murray with their first pick. And how does this affect Roschon going forward. I say yes they should - as should any team that has him available. And I think things like this make Roschon’s outlook even greater. (Than it was)

Not sure why it would have any impact on RJ’s future.

I will be surprised if Murray can translate his college success in the NFL as a QB. He’s really challenged size wise. Yes he’s fast, but so are 6-3 250 pound linebackers.

In fact I’d say that the first one to have success in the NFL was Russell Wilson. Michael Vick to some extent even the ones who could be considered to be dual threat weren’t. I guess Fran Tarkington for his ability to escape pressure. But everyone seems to think that only 6’4 + QBs can do anything in the NFL. Look at the announcer during the All-American game “he still needs to work on his mechanics” heck he had the best mechanics of any of the other QBs on the field that day for sure. Same as calling the fastest player on the 90s Bills a “possession receiver” simply because he was white. There is a ton of pre judging based on size etc. they judged Roschon because he’s an elusive runner. I watched an AAF game the other day where Greg Ward jr was a WR. The QB on the team was not as good as Ward IMO. (I guess I’m supposed to say “Ward Jr” as if his dad were on the same team and we needed to differentiate) lol.

Looks like the Cardinals will take Murray with the first overall pick. Say what you want this can only help Roschon’s outlook especially if Murray is successful as I believe he will be.
