Mistakes and Penalties killed us last night with the last one putting a dagger in us!! Questions I have is why we always play our DB's 15 yards off the ball. Another question I have is with the Soccer program we have our Special Teams esp. punting sucks!!! Our defensive line gives NO push and we rarely put pressure on the QB.

Ive asked this question many times. I do not understand with all the success we have with Varsity Soccer - why are we struggling year after year at the kicking position?

Penalties and fumbles continue to be our achilles heel. Good teams capitalize on those.

It saddens me that this team came in to this season with such high expectations on their shoulders. Hopefully; they can turn it around and make some noise in the playoffs.

GO NDN's!

In regards to comments about the kicking game, kicking and punting are 2 entirely different things. The place kicker is doing a fine job. Punting has been a problem for years. Maybe they can't find anyone who can do the job well, it seems it is usually an afterthought. This isn't meant to take away from the young men who have tried punting now, and in the past. It may be that they haven't had a coach on staff with actual punting experience.

Regarding the comment about the Nederland students running on to the field: so what, who cares? They are kids who just watched their team win a big game against their cross-town rival. No damage done. If PN-G won at Nederland I can promise you the PN-G students would storm the field too. That's just looking for something to whine about because the Indians lost, let it go (IMHO)!

The season is not over after this loss, this team and coaching staff can, and should use this as motivation and a spring-board for a play-off run.

Hard loss and nobody is feeling it more than the team, especially the seniors. Regroup and let's get rolling into the playoffs. Looks like we may get Dayton again. Lots of naysayers predicting a 1st round exit for the Indians. This team needs to rise up and shut people's mouths. I'm not ready for the season to be over. :punchingbag: :punchingbag:

Super great game. Usual MCM. Yes I agree, we killed ourselves in the first half with bad snaps and penalties. I think we were in scoring position 3 times and had either bad snaps or penalties and a bad pitch out on the option. Without those mistakes PNG more than likely would have had this game by 2 touchdowns if not more. Kicking game, Yeah thats a much needed thing needed to secure some wins.
Now its onto the more difficult part of our season. Ozen, Central and Vidor. Need to win out to get prepared for the Playoffs.
Proud of the team though, they never gave up.
