Montgomery Game Band Talk

Hearing the Band is leaving at Halftime due to competition the next day. That really sucks. We need them.

I'd rather see them stay in a hotel at the school's expense rather than leave early from the most important game of the season.

There were 1/2 dozen former Indian Spirits out there at the homecoming game.about 10% of all former spirit dancers. Plug in that percentage with former band members and you’d really have something!

At the homecoming game some of the band members exited the field during the ‘competition’ part of the halftime performance and just observed. A good 20-25% of the band. Why can’t that group stay and hold down the fort in Montgomery?

Not being argumentative... just have to say it though. The football players show up at the field house every Saturday at 8:30 AM, even after games like Lake Creek when they get in bed after 1 AM. It sucks to see that level of commitment from the boys, and something like this happen. No one's fault, I'm sure there are many other factors, third party organizations and governing bodies all at play. Just had to complain a little. Now I feel better.
