Theses are great times that should be cherished. A terrific group of senior leaders, many starting juniors who will be even more of a force next season, and more talented players on the way up. And young coaches who are also improving. I hope negativity and politics don't derail the positives.

The only available stats for the public are from the ipreps database. Those show Morse with 488 as a soph.

I think Morse may have been a few yards short of passing Long for the career total.

But the accuracy of stats is always questionable and prone to human error. Short of watching every game tape, I'm not sure how anyone can really confirm Long's or Morse's actual totals.

Just a slight discrepancy, but The all- time records page on this site has Adam with 2900 for last season.

Perfect example of varying numbers. That 2900 yard number is from the iPreps database that's available from the Bmt Enterprise or Houston Chronicle.

Game stats are recorded by humans, and all you have to do is look at the various sources we as fans have access to know that they vary. I don't know if there is an official source, but would consider coaches watching game film to be the most likely to be accurate.

Official school records indicate that Adam Morse achieved yet another passing record.

Congrats to Adam, and Kudos to his receivers and O-Line! Without the time, that number would be so much smaller!
