That's correct. Cedar Park HS and Rouse HS are both in Leander ISD.

Rouse HS is a newer school. It opened only about 15 years ago or so. Right now, the Leander ISD football talent, both coaching and playing, appears to be concentrated at Vandegrift HS at the southern end of the district. When Vandegrift opened (circa 2016), it took most of the Steiner Ranch area of Austin away from Cedar Park. Not so coincidentally, that's the richest part of Leander ISD, wedged between Cedar Park and the Eanes/Lake Travis/Austin Westlake area.

I live in Leander ISD. Dated a girl from Cedar Park in law school. A lot of her family either work or previously worked for Leander ISD.

I'm really, really going to enjoy this win.

Thanks for the info! It’s hard for us fans to gauge the competition when teams from schools we aren’t familiar with keep popping up all the time…lol!

Not sure what they said but I know what they are thinking. How are we going to stop PNG's running game? They can't. Even with 11 men in the box Brenham could not stop PNG from getting 5 to 7 yards with Shea running the ball. Can you imagine the result when the TE slips out of that formation for a pass? Instant TD.

The lead guy does say “we’re back” at the end of it. Definitely seems to be intentional. Maybe it was only meant for the in-person audience to hear. Keeping info out of enemy hands.

Got a screenshot of an email earlier today indicating that 80% of the PN-G tickets have already been sold. That puts the crowd on our side somewhere between 4,500 and 4,800, depending on whether the band and Indianettes were accounted for in that total. And we're still 28 hours from kickoff.

Compare that to the second round game in Katy last year. There were what, maybe a thousand fans present? The Indian Faithful are making a comeback.

Baily has 854 yards passing with 2 ints and 11 TDs with a 116 QB rating.
Nguyen with 1476 and 12 Tds and Blair with 803 and 10 Tds
Not sure on accuracy just thought it would be cool to show.

Some of the Maxprep numbers just seem off. Unless they originated from PNG HS, they’re questionable.

I worked in Post Oak Central for 20+ years. Too much crime around the Galleria area now and the parking garages aren’t even safe. Same for Willowbrook, Greenspoint and every other mall that isn’t far away from the city like the two mentioned.
