Next Opponent: Montgomery Bears

Even so, probably not nearly as small as the miniscule following other teams have at Port Neches games. (Not counting NHS)

Still don’t get why the non-state performing band members couldn’t stay at the game.

There will be three of us there from our house. Plan to lose my voice as I know we will have to bring the noise in that second half if it's true the band is leaving after half time. Ready to yell and get loud while we are on defense!!

I watched the Huntsville vs Montgomery game just to get a sneak peek of what we’re up against,I’ll say they’re offense is explosive QB can make throws when he needs too the RB #1 is quick for how big he is and they’re WRs CAN make some plays BUT they’re scheme is nothing we haven’t see lots of screens and runs to the outside. Now they’re defense they blitz A LOT they had a ton of offside penalties in that Huntsville game so running up the middle will be difficult but that’s pretty much all they got they’re secondary is pretty weak,Pretty much every deep ball Huntsville threw was either a completion for a big gain,A PI on Montgomery or a missed pi by the refs but Huntsville didn’t have the QB or the weapons to take advantage of that the whole game difference being WE DO.Overall this should be a great game should be high scoring or if PNG plays they're cards right a blowout in our favor but we’ll haft to wait and see GO INDIANS!!

Montgomery defense is just looking to disrupt. If that’s their strength they’re in trouble. Indians passing game should light them up. Quick passes will move the chains. Maybe a few more pitch outs and reverses to punish that over aggressiveness. They’ll make some stops but the big offensive line will keep pounding on them and Henry or Diaz will eventually break through and outrun that second level. Key to that is how dialed in Bailey and the receivers are. Accurate throws and good hands will be necessary to defeat Montgomery tonight.

When on offense Montgomery would do well to just run all night with that big back and control the clock. Keep PNG’s offense off the field as much as possible. And you can bet a paycheck their QB will drop back some, hesitate and take off running. All by design. He allegedly has 4.46 speed according to their coach. Hoping Jaxin Winfrey has a big night as well as the entire defense.

This one is all about game and clock management. Whoever makes 2-3 defensive stops should be able to pull out the win.

The QB will run a lot. That has been the kryptonite of the PNG defense too many times so they’re going to test that frequently.
He’s a good runner too, and big. Their Plan A is hand it to RB1. Plan A1 is qb run. Plan B is quick passes to the flat. They’re very good moving back and forth between the first two running options, especially with the threat of the qb passing. They can spread us out, open up holes.

A game of ball control and scoring efficiency. Maybe the Indians would do well to keep the ball for longer drives. Do it with the run and quick passes. It would keep the defense fresher to get those key drive ending stops against the other guys.

I trust that the PNG staff has prepared the team well and will have a good game plan.

The Bears QB must be Morcos’ cousin
Same build and escapability running threat. This team is very similar to the LC team last year.
