Next Opponent: Montgomery Bears

A game of ball control and scoring efficiency. Maybe the Indians would do well to keep the ball for longer drives. Do it with the run and quick passes. It would keep the defense fresher to get those key drive ending stops against the other guys.

I trust that the PNG staff has prepared the team well and will have a good game plan.
PNG would always do well to have longer drives. The only time we can afford to mess around with short drives is against bad teams. Holding the ball is the best defense.

McDaniel’s Mansters need to come fully alive on this Halloween night. All we need is a full moon and a win to make it a perfect night.

Win this one and next week is a technicality
(For us not for Dayton) actually next week is only significant for Dayton either way.
So this week decides first or second for us.

Actually I may have spoken too soon
I guess there could be some two loss teams left

No I think I’m right
The Dayton game means nothing to us either way
We’re either first or second based on tonight’s result.

We have a Waxing Gibbous moon tonight. 72% illumination is good enough. The purple and white mansters will be awoken tonight. Bears beware.

Dayton means something because if we win tonight and lose next week we’d be co-district champs instead of outright. We’d still be the 1-seed. It’s only bragging rights, but undefeated district champs sounds a lot better on my ears than co-champs. Can someone double check me on the rules?

I asked this question myself. I was told since it would be a 2 way tie and we would own the tie breaker in that scenario we would be the DCs. That would change if it was a three way tie with each team owning a tie breaker or we were both only one loss but not to each other. Now i am not 100 on this but that is how it was explained to me.

That makes sense. it would be weird if we were co-champs with a head-to-head win over the other co-champ. But I think that happened with PnG and Nederland in 2015 - they beat us, we each had one district loss and shared the championship. District might have different rules now
