To be honest I dont think SOC gets out of the region this year. The top 2 imo out of region 2 this year is Mansfield Timberview & Brenham followed by SOC. Dark horse to come out of region is Terrell

Timberview is almost identical to Fort Bend Crawford offense. Similar QBs strong arm passers and quick strong RPO running QBs. Similar quick RBs. Both teams possess a D1 College recruit WR. Defensively Crawford is much stronger. Believe SOC has the edge over Timberview and Terrell in Region 2. Terrell had a better team in 2025 and was destroyed by SOC in playoffs.

Brenham is the challenger to SOC in 5AD2 Region 2.

Argyle is the challenger to SOC in 5AD2 Region 1.

5AD2 Region 1 Anna, Lovejoy, and Celina are strong but not equipped to challenge SOC.

Denton Ryan did not look good during non-district at all. Scoring a lot of points in a meh district doesn't tell me why they are good. I watched most of their games, play by play and yes, their QB is good and good under pleasure, however, I just didn't see a top 10 team.

Like I said, maybe my eye test is bad, but they just don't look like a top 10 team. I have been saying and asking questions about Montgomery too. :shrug: Weird year.

Maybe playoffs will show out.

Agree with19Indian68 about Argyle and Brenham, though Brenham I do not see doing what they do against SOC, will have to see on that front.
