Went to the game. Left in the first half score was 46-0.
Take aways from game:
1. Montgomery Defensive seven are small with exception of #2 DE Nolan Carpenter.
2. Defensive front seven makeup for size with quickness, numbers, and physicality.
3. Montgomery Offensive line is equal or slightly smaller then PNG OL. However they can trap and pull to great gaps up the middle for RB Ben.
4. Humble Kingwood Park is a bad team. No punter. Shanks to the side lines gave Montgomery short fields all first half with one punt blocked for a TD at the end of the first half.
5. First Q Montgomery offense was all ground game mostly #1 Ben running back.
6. RB Ben looks bulked up from last season still has moves that make him a College D1 recruit.
7. After 21-0 mid 2nd Q lead Montgomery offense focused on passing game to put game away and rest RB Ben. Throwing deep passes down the field similar to PNG Ashworth/Offense. Montgomery QB had two deep TD passes and one deep pass interception in first half.
Montgomery is not a Brenham.
