Wow. When I see our likely playoff opponents laid out like that, we definitely have a shot at getting to the state championship game.

Montgomery is going to be very tough. So would Huntsville. And Crawford will certainly have gotten better from our last meeting. Not to mention Marshall, though they aren’t what they used to be.

Beside 2025 when it felt like SOC was the only regional threat to a healthy PNG, there will always be tough games r3 and on.

Montgomery has kinda played nobody all season. (Maybe one of the Conroe teams is better than I know) We will see what happens Thursday vs Huntsville.

And PN-G has gotten better! A state championship appearance is achievable.

Gohlke played the majority of the Brenham and Crawford games as WR. Any next meeting with either team will have a different dynamic.

Would love to meet Brenham again!

Montgomery offense is run focused with two good runners. PNG defense has faced good running backs. PNG Defense focus is Stopping the run. Make Montgomery one dimensional. PNG Offense keeps their running backs standing on the sideline. No D1 college recruit WR to out run the PNG secondary. Play mistake free football.

Huntsville goes as their QB goes. PNG has seen the ups and downs of this Huntsville QB from last year’s game.

Was impressed with Fort Bend Marshall Defense as the game went on with Crawford. Ran out of steam in the fourth Quarter. FBM Offense is very methodical in getting the play in. Still likes the home run pass to their quick WRs. RPO QB is tall and quick.

Good analysis - Only thing I’d add is the Marshall linebackers aren’t good this year. Or, Crawford made them look bad.

Don’t see anyone in this list that we cannot beat if we keep improving every game and avoid costly mistakes during the later rounds.

Also consider that Flako Valdovinos just added another amazing dimension to the offense. Based on the way he runs, I don’t think there is much of a drop off when he gives Henry a breather. Or maybe they’ll go with a scheme that has them both in the backfield at times.

If PNG can successfully combine an efficient run game with Henry and Co, Daylon drawing safety help over the top, the short passing game with the other fantastic wide receivers, and the designed/unscripted runs from Jude, PNG will be very hard to stop. Not mentioning Ashworth in the wildcat packages

And maybe TE Eli Smith will see some opportunities over the middle.

This is a deadly PNG offense that is peaking for the playoffs. It will go as far as the oline does it’s job because the firepower is there.

Sante Fe, Baytown Lee, Galena Park vs

These are the important conversations we need to be having

May actually be a year early with so many juniors playing and talented sophomores eager to hit the field.

If he catch a pass get him the ball in the open space.

Next year expect Current HB/TE to become a pulling and trapping OL Guard in 2027. Pattern for the last two years.

Young QB Gohlke must learn to take a sack or quickly throw the ball away or game changing interceptions will follow trying to throw a pass in the grasp of defenders. Live and fight another day. The position is yours. Nothing more to prove.
